Goblin Valley - three years in the making (Class B Uniforms)

Well, our first two-day camp is upon us - and after three years of unsuccessful attempts we are actually heading down to Goblin Valley.  Because this camp is unique, we will be handling things a bit differently to prepare:

1. Scouts attending camp should meet at the Mack's house at 7:00 pm Wednesday with the following:
• ALL camping gear and supplies (we will load up that evening so we can leave early)  Please dress and supply for the following Forecast (hats and sunscreen - there is little shade)
• Permission slips (server is alive and working to download them ... sorry for the offline period)
• Camp payment ($20) if it has not already been submitted
2. Scouts attending camp should return to the Mack's house at 7:45am the following day.  We will be leaving promptly - its a long drive and if we hustle we have a chance to grab one of the first-come first-served sites within the park. 
• Please bring your own lunch for the drive
• Don't forget to wear your class B uniforms
3. We will return Saturday around noon
4. Scouts not attending camp can enjoy an evening off

American Football - Class B Uniforms

We will meet at the church at 7:00 pm on Wednesday to continue our athletics theme.  Football is the name of the game this week, so wear appropriate clothing.  We will be running drills and then play touch football.  It is likely that we will walk down to Butterfield Park for this.

Since we will be outside, dress warmly ... looks like a chilly evening is in store.

Basketball 101 - Class B Uniforms

We enter the Athletics phase of the schedule and will spend the next couple months expanding our knowledge of and trying out the following sports:

Basketball
Volleyball
Soccer
Football

Tomorrow is Basketball, and the boys will need to wear appropriate clothing.  We will meet at the church at 7:00 pm.  We may have to move it outside if we can't use the hoops there, which means we will finish up at the Mack's house (just north of the them actually, across Mirabella).  If you have a basketball that can be used outdoors, please bring it.

Parents - if you or our son have experience with the last three sports on the list and want to teach the rest of us the finer points, please let Jason Mack know ASAP.

Not so ancient history

This week we will be meeting at the Church @ 7:00 pm.  It's a coed activity, so no uniforms - though we still need to adhere to modest standards.  We will be heading downtown to the LDS church museum for a tour, returning before 9:30.
