Combined Activity Part 1 - No Uniform Required

We will be meeting in the Church at 7:00 pm tonight (Wednesday).  We have guest instructors teaching ballroom dancing in advance of next week’s etiquette dinner and dance.  Please be on time for opening exercises in the Chapel.

Geocaching (rock on) ; Camping (not so much)

This week we will be meeting at the Church at 7:00 pm to learn about geocaching and gps navigation.  We will have a guest instructor and it should be a pretty good time.  Unfortunately Jason Mack will not be attending.  Instead he will be up with the 14-18 year old youth for their summer Youth Conference. 

Consequently, we will not be holding an overnight camp on Friday as scheduled.  This means that our next camp is the Bear Lake Aquatics Base summer camp at the end of July.  Only one scout has submitted his health form.  Remaining attendees will need to submit theirs or they will not be able to go.

Scout Decathalon

Don't forget - Saturday at 10:00 am at Butterfield Park (pavillion) we will be holding the first annual Scout Decathalon.  Scouts of all ages and their families are invited to participate.  There will be prizes, and in keeping with Scout tradition ... most of them are edible.

Temple Night

Quick change of plans from what you may have heard announced on Sunday.  Instead of Geocaching, we will be going to the Jordan River Temple.  Attendees will need to have a current temple recommend from the Bishop.  We will meet at the church at 7:00 and carpool over.  Sunday dress is mandatory.  Fathers please join us if you can.

Geocaching will be next week.

Decathalon Prep - Class B Uniforms

On the 18th we will be holding a Scout Decathalon.  Wednesday the 8th is our night to plan it out and make assignments.  Please meet at the Mack's at 7:00 pm and be prepared to get those creative juices flowing.  This decathalon has potential to be a great family event!

Please make an extra effort to wear your class B uniforms.

The sun is shining ...

... and that has nothing to do with what we are doing tonight (I couldn't resist).  The combined activity tonight will be at the Church at 7:00pm.  I don't want to spoil the fun, so I will just say - wear comfortable clothing and tennis shoes and be prepared to get your groove on.
